Basic Life Support Training - Dental
Ace Bls can provide Basic Life Support training to your team at your venue. The course can be tailored to meet your needs.
A normal Basic Life Support course for the Dental Practice would include:
- Adult and Paediatric CPR
- Safe use of AED
- Portable Oxygen
- Choking
- Recovery Position
- Overview of the Medical Emergency Drugs Kit
This course is delivered Face 2 Face and involves both theory time and practical time. Normal Duration 3 hours
Basic Life Support Training - GP
A normal Basic Life Support course for the GP Surgery would include:
- Adult and Paediatric CPR
- Safe use of AED
- Portable Oxygen
- Choking
- Recovery Position
- Anaphylaxis
Course length 2 hours
Dental Sedation ILS Training
If you provide sedation services in your Dental practice then you will know doubt need to undertake Immediate Life Support training.
Ace Bls can assist with provision of this training in your setting.
The course is a day course and is for a maximum of six learners per trainer. Delegates should be from Clinical members of your team.
The course will cover:
- Causes and Prevention of Cardiorespiratory Arrest
- The ABCDE Approach
- Initial Resuscitation and defibrillation
- Airways and Breathing
- Medical Emergencies in the Dental Practice
- Practical Time
This course is a non Resus Council UK course but run on same lines. New learners will be provided with a copy of the current RC UK ILS Manual.
Learners will be continuously assessed during the course
First Aid Training
Ace Bls can provided regulated First Aid Training to your teams either at your site or another arranged venue.
Ace Bls are an approved centre for Qualsafe Awards - Centre Number 904727
We are authorised to deliver many courses including:
- One day Emergency First Aid at Work course
- Two Day First Aid at Work Requalification course
- Three Day First Aid at Work (Initial Course)
- Two Day Paediatric First Aid course (can be delivered via a blended method of classroom and e-learning)
First Aid certificates are valid for three years but it is recommended that learners undertake a half day annual refresh
First Aid courses can be delivered to a maximum of twelve learners with one instructor.
